    The Carmarthenshire Ambassador training program was part of the Rural Tourism Clusters Project, which encouraged tourism businesses and communities to work together to enhance the local area. The project received funding through the Rural Development Plan for Wales 2007 - 2013, which was funded by the Welsh Government and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
